Enhanced Security with New Registration Procedure (2021 Onwards)
Our enhanced security protocol for XENTRY Diagnosis software access operates in two stages:
Stage 1: Since Release 03/2021, a personal user ID and password are required for login.
Stage 2: From March 15, 2022, the standard diagnostic role is mandatory. Obtain this role via the UMAS platform.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of the identification process via UMAS/IDnow (one-time process). Independent Service Providers without a User ID can register via https://umas.mercedes-benz.com/orgprocess/ (select “New Registration” or “Registered Organization” as applicable). Contact your IT administrator or UMAS support for assistance.
XENTRY Flash Authorization:
XENTRY Flash roles (Standard and Extended) are also obtained through UMAS. A one-time identification process via UMAS is required for each user to acquire Flash roles.
